The Antenatal Clinic Associate Midwifer Manager is a leadership role within the Antenatal Clinic at Box Hill Hospital. Box Hill Hospital services families that live within the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. We offer a range of Continuity of Care Models within the clinic - standard clinic (which offers care to low risk and high risk women, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Midwifery Group Practice, Obstetric Medicine and Paediatrics). The role of the Associate Midwifery Unit Manager is to supervise and support the Midwifery staff and medical staff, triage referrals from Maternity Bookings and assisting the Midwifery Manager with accreditation preparation.**About you**
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Previous experience within Antenatal Clinic
- Current Registered Midwifer registration with AHPRA
- Post Graduate qualifications in Midwifery (dessirable, not essential)
- Previous experience in leadership roles within Midwifery (CMS or AMUM).
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
