- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or a related field
- A Masters degree or MBA is highly preferred
- Strategic planning and business development experience, preferably in the retail sector
- Strong understanding of Australia/New Zealand retail market and consumer behaviour
- Proven track record of developing, communicating and executing successful business strategies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Evidence of success in a results driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal & written
- High attention to detail
- Organized and process driven mindset
- Strong business acumen and ability to grasp business requirement from stakeholders
- Leadership skills
- Keen interest in retail & sporting goods industry

**YOUR MISSION**:

- Develop strategies for Direct to Consumer and Wholesale in alignment with global brand objectives
- Lead the strategic vision across all fronts of the business, implementing comprehensive strategies to enhance market share, profitability and brand presence.
- Manage the development of corporate plans by playing a lead role in planning activities, establishing and reviewing key strategic priorities and translating them into actionable and tangible plans.
- Draft, develop and embed the Strategic Planning Framework for implementation.
- Support the Managing Director in important presentations towards the region and internally
- Consult with senior leadership to ensure strategic alignment of regional and global goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing strategy team, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Manage seasonal and categorical macro and micro trend analysis and deliver reports to enable decision making
- Comply with and implement all professional, regulatory, statutory and corporate policies and procedures
