Child Care Educator

**The Service**

Located in the heart of Sydney's CBD, KU Phillip Park is close to public transport and offers free (limited) parking. Rated exceeding the NQS, KU Phillip Park caters for up to 48 children per day and has a focus on building a community of inquiry and investigation by incorporating this into their programs through regular walks, outings and excursions to local sites of significance.

**The Role**

KU Phillip Park is looking for a motivated educator with a **completed **certificate III qualification to join their team.

**On offer is a permanent part time position working 6 hour shifts; Monday to Friday - 12pm - 6pm. You may have access to additional hours outside of contracted hours if desired.**

**To be considered for this role, it is essential you have**:

- A recognised Certificate III in Children's Services qualification or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- A valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check
- Child Protection training and knowledge of current legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
