**The Team**

At Woolies, we’re about creating customer and team-first experiences. To enable this, the Smart & Simpler Program is focused on transforming through technology, equipment or process optimisation to deliver consistent in-store processes and better, safer experiences for our customers and team members.

**The Role**

We’re now looking for a Senior Strategy Analyst to bring their storytelling, and problem-solving to influence and communicate the change to the business. You’ll play a key role in enabling the Smart & Simpler program. You’ll be responsible for;
- Injecting creative and innovative thinking into our business
- Developing and communicating clear recommendations and influencing stakeholders to catalyse positive change
- Using your quantitative problem-solving and analytical capabilities to build the fact bases that will inform decision-making
- Extracting insights from complex analysis

**Who we’re looking for**

We’re looking for a creative thinker who thrives on challenging the status quo and asking why. You’ll be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and demonstrate strong integrity and credibility. In addition, you’ll also demonstrate;
- A minimum of 3+ years in a consulting or corporate strategy team
- Strong communication skills - visual and verbal
- Proactive and highly motivated problem solver
- Willingness to learn and adapt
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of strategic problem solving and frameworks
- Strong commercial/business acumen to develop business cases
- Strong analytical skills
- Exceptional Customer & Stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrating the following skills will also be highly desirable;
- Agile mindset and process experience (Scrum)
- Supplier management in equipment delivery
- Good Understanding of Customer-facing businesses (Retail, food business, telco)
