About the Role: *
We have a vacancy for a **Key Worker** to support a female client's program, located in Sunbury, to work around 10 hours per week/20 hours per fortnight.

*
The suggested hours of work are: *
- Tuesday: 9am-12pm
- Wednesday: 9am - 3pm as Disability Support Worker followed by 3pm - 6pm as Key Worker
- Friday: 10am - 1pm

*
Key responsibilities: *
- Consulting with the next of kin to provide regular updates
- Liaising with the team of Disability Support Workers
- Attending to incident reports
- Advising Disability Support Workers' of future appointments
- Monitoring rosters
- Monitoring communication, medical charts etc

*
Skills & Experience: *
- Previous experience as a Disability Support Worker in the in-home setting.
- Previous proven experience supporting clients with intellectual disabilities, with slightly aggressive behaviours.
- Previous experience assisting and following client's daily routines that include; behaviour management, medication, personal care, domestic support, and community access.
- Previous experience working autonomously and within a team environment and has the ability to successfully converse with all as a key member of the team.
- Previous experience actioning behavioural support plans accordingly.
- Good communication skills and able to successfully communicate with the different partners involved in the program.
- Has good organisation skills and is efficient with administration.

**Position Requirements**:

- Relevant qualification in Aged Care or Disability or similar.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificates.
- Pre-Employment Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Medical Assessment.
- Own car and valid driver’s licence (International driver's licence will not be accepted).
- Smart phone and internet access (Rostering through App).
- Willingness to undergo further training and development, specific to the clients’ care.
