We are seeking an experienced structural drafter to join our team and assist our engineers with drawing preparation and document control in the daily roles needed for the growth and success of our Loganholme based business. **Some key responsibilities of this role will include**:

- Understanding and preparation of engineering documentation as directed
- Document and deliver structural drawings in accordance with recognized standards & guidelines
- Prepare drawings and Models to budgeted hours and timeframes as directed
- Ensure drawings are comprehensively set out and fully dimensioned
- Check the drawings prepared by the other draftspersons when directed

**About You**:

- Must have experience with AutoCAD in the relevant discipline for structural projects
- Familiarity and understanding of Australian standards are a must
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in drafting in structural engineering
- Current driver’s license and own transport
- White Card
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to organize and prioritize demands, handle multiple complex tasks
- Set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills (oral & written) with the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
- Interest in geotechnical engineering/soil testing is an advantage
