**Tasks and Qualifications**:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Inspect and maintain equipment regularly to ensure optimum production
- Assist with machine setup processes
- Complete mechanical/electrical preventative maintenance as per schedule
- Resolve equipment faults/breakdowns in a timely manner
- Continuous improvement activities to optimise production capacity
- Manage allocated assets including spare parts and tools
- Promote and follow health and safety processes
- Must be flexible to work day and some afternoon shifts when required
- This role requires weekly Saturday overtime either half day and some full days as required

**About You - What We Are Looking For**

You will have experience in troubleshooting/problem solving equipment faults, be solutions and quality focused with the following:

- Certificate III in Engineering
- Mechanical Trade (Fitter & Turner) qualification (mandatory)
- Experience with mechanical and pneumatic systems and automation in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
- Understanding of OH&S requirements
- Exposure to PLC systems desired, training can be provided
- Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
- Ability to work a varying roster pattern when required to provide shift coverage to production team day/afternoon shifts and Saturday overtime shift.
