Are you a skilled **Mechanical Fitter**with a passion for automation and cutting-edge technology? We have an exciting opportunity for you to work with Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) Join our **Belrose**team and be part of an innovative environment where you’ll play a key role in assembling, installing, and maintaining AGVs, ensuring they operate safely, smoothly, and efficiently.
- **Hours of Work**: this position may require occasional weekend or overtime work depending on project deadlines.

**WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON**
- **Assembly & Installation**: Build and fit mechanical components, ensuring precise alignment and functionality.
- **Troubleshooting & Repairs**: Diagnose and fix faults in drive systems, wheels, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- **System Integration**: Collaborate with electrical and software teams to synchronize mechanical components with automation systems.
- **Quality Control**: Ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- **Reporting & Documentation**: Maintain detailed records of maintenance, inspections, and technical feedback.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with engineers and technicians while mentoring junior team members.

**Tasks and Qualifications**:
**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**
- High school diploma or equivalent: mandatory.
- Technical certifications/qualifications in mechanical fitting, engineering, or a related field: preferred.
- 2-5 years hands-on experience in mechanical fitting, preferably in automation or robotics.
- Experience with AGV systems or similar automation technology is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using mechanical tools, machines, and diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, robotics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Familiarity with safety procedures and quality control standards in mechanical fitting
- Ability to lift heavy components and work in a physically demanding environment
