**The Role**

Black Star Pastry is looking for a Driver to join our team transporting our beautiful cakes and other products from our St Kilda based production kitchen to our store at Chadstone.

We are looking for someone with availability Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, but some flexibility would be ideal.

Your main responsibilities will include
- Pick up and load vehicle promptly in accordance with company procedures.
- Deliver product in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements of food hygiene regulations.
- Ensure all policies, procedures, standards and guidelines are carefully adhered to at all times

**About You**
- Previous experience as a driver/courier is helpful but not essential.
- Able to build effective and constructive relationships - a true team player
- Exceptional time management skills.
- Good judgement and confident to make informed decisions.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible to changing business demands.
- Passionate about prompt service and delivering a quality product.
- Positive ambassador of the BSP brand.
- Valid driver’s licence

Black Star Pastry opened its first boutique patisserie in Newtown in 2008 and since then we have grown into an institution with four stores across Sydney and two in Melbourne.

We are most famous for our Strawberry Watermelon Cake which has become a social media sensation, with the New York Times declaring it “the world’s most instagrammed cake.”
