Location**:St Kilda**

Care Kin is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Support Worker(PCA) in the St Kilda area. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities by facilitating their participation and engagement within the local community.

**Responsibilities**:

- **IMPORTANT**:Provide Personal Care Assistance (PCA) - Showering, toileting, continence products, manual handling etc.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times
- Respect clients' choices, dignity, and independence
- Maintain accurate records and documentation

**Requirements**:

- ABN
- Experience working with individuals with physical and mental disabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 24 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 25/01/2025
