Due to internal career progression we now have the opportunity for an experience Supply Chain Manger to take the next step in their supply chain career.

**The role**

Reporting to the General Manager - Cheese and sitting as a member of the Business Unit leadership team and the Lactalis-wide Senior leadership group, this role is responsible for managing a team to lead day to day activities with end-to-end supply chain, including S&OP process, inventory, logistics, business process activities within SAP and APL and related tasks for the business. This role will also oversee vendors, service providers and internal stakeholders across multiple departments to achieve cost efficiencies and KPI metrics.

In this role, you will:

- Drive the supply chain function and implement policies, procedures and framework that aligns with the Lactalis business strategy for growth
- Lead a team of 4 directs and 3 indirects to focus and deliver on productivity, best practice and take a strong customer service approach to their role.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to anticipate needs, identify issues and advise on corrective actions
- Implement effective supply chain process improvements and projects that utilise best practice to manage, direct and maintain optimum inventory levels across the business.
- Perform ongoing evaluation of KPIs to ensure performance targets are achieved, and providing visibility to the business on customer KPIs
- Lead implementation projects in line with Lactalis Supply Chain initiatives

To be successful, you will have:

- Bachelor of Supply Chain, Business or similar area
- Minimum 5 years Customer Supply Chain, ISP/VRP or planning role in FMCG environment
- Experience working with short shelf life products
- Experience leading a team
- Exceptional Customer Service skills
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Highly experienced in excel
- SAP experience well regarded
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Ability to work and influence cross functionally

Ability to lead a team and manage multiple stakeholders are key requirements for the role.
