Ventia’s Rig and Well Services contract is one of Australia’s leading drilling, well servicing and remote mobile camp management providers. We build and operate our own equipment, under long term contracts and service some of the world’s largest resource companies.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Our Engineering team is eager to expand their team with an experienced Mechanical Design draftsperson. Ideally this is someone looking to improve on their experience and grow with our small team, down the hill at the Ventia Withcott facility. Preferably, you will have experience in drafting from a fabrication or steel metal industry.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you’ll be involved in completing an interesting a diverse range of work, including drafting for drilling and well servicing rig upgrades, retrofits, and new custom designs.

This is a permanent, full-time role, Monday to Friday.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Drafting
- Mechanical Drafting with 5 years’ experience desirable.
- Experienced user of Solid Works 3D modelling/ drafting or Inventor 3D modelling/ drafting
- An aptitude for mechanical equipment and heavy fabrication.
- Prior experience in fabrication, sheet metal, agricultural industries is advantages.
