Who are we looking for?

We're seeking skilled and proactive Mechanical Engineers (Defence) with experience in defence aviation. If you're collaborative, solution-focused, and passionate about engineering, this role is for you.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Design, test, and maintain mechanical components and systems for defence applications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment, ensuring optimal performance and system reliability.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement solutions.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and technical drawings.

The Essential Requirements

• Cert IV or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years' experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in defence aviation sector.
• Ability to work a day shift with flexibility for occasional afternoon shifts.
• Strong attention to detail, safety focus, and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Currently holds Baseline security clearance or ability to obtain
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
