With a reputation built on reliability, expertise, and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager to lead their dynamic team of plumbers to service both their domestic and commerical customers.
- **_Position Overview:_**
- **_Key Responsibilities:_**
- Manage and lead a team of 10 plumbers, providing guidance, training, and support
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
- Schedule and coordinate jobs, ensuring timely completion and customer satisfaction
- Monitor and manage inventory, equipment, supplies and ensuring work vehicles are kept in good working order.
- Maintain and update company policies, procedures, and safety protocols
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution
- Promote a safe, accident free and healthy workplace through the ongoing management of the Safety system and meeting of compliance requirements. Responsible for safety of all staff in the field.
- Writing reports and communicating difficult or complex plumbing issues with clients
- Oversee the delivery of Maintenance Contracts, including regular site visits with the view to building relationships with key contacts and looking to grow repeat business
- Ensure all successful quotes are handed over to the proper channels to enable them to be complete the works on time and in budget to agreed client expectations
- Management & quote on the job, compliance - safety/ client discussions/ work procedures/ invoicing

**_Qualifications:_**
- Qualified plumber with relevant certifications
- At least 10 years experience in plumbing and 5 years experience in Supervising staff
- Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively
- Knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and techniques
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and plumbing software eg Aroflo
- Strong project managment skills
- A great sense of humour
