Programmed are currently seeking experienced and reliable Forklift and/or Machine Operators for an immediate start based in Carole Park QLD. Our client is an international Leading Manufacturer and Distributor of Fibre Cement Products. Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking experienced and reliable Forklift and/or Machine Operators for an immediate start based in Carole Park QLD. Our client is an international Leading Manufacturer and Distributor of Fibre Cement Products.
With boundless opportunities to upskill and start your career, this role is great for anyone who considers themselves a self-starter looking to further their existing manufacturing knowledge or gain new skills.
**Site advantages in current market**:
- Attractive hourly rate of up to $40 per hour.
- Opportunity for overtime paid at penalty rates.
- Monday to Sunday shifts. Various roster patterns available to suit all availability.
- Zero Harm safety culture.
**Duties include but are not limited to;**
- Forklift Operation - 8 to 12 tonne (if licensed)
- Machine Operations - Industry Specialist Machinery
- Manual Handling of large fiber cement products - up to 6 meters long.
**The successful applicant will possess the following;**
- Proactive Safety mindset and awareness.
- Valid forklift License with previous experience - is highly advantageous but not essential
- Mechanically minded with exposure to large, scaled machinery within a manufacturing environment _- _is highly advantageous but not essential
- Outstanding attendance and punctuality are a must.
- Industry knowledge - Fibre cement - is highly advantageous but not essential
- Current and valid driver's license with a reliable vehicle - is highly advantageous but not essential
- Ability to complete OVERTIME when required
