**Team Lead Hydrogeology** to join our team.
**The Role**
**Reporting to the Groundwater Manager**, the purpose of this position is to implement Arrow’s processes for identifying, modelling, monitoring and managing impacts to groundwater resources arising from the company’s operations.
This is a
**Brisbane based position** and will require occasional travel to our field operations as required, with plenty of notice.
**In addition you will**:
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safe environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
- Lead the Hydrogeology Team by ensuring resources are allocated, provide mentoring and coaching to team members and manage internal and external relationships.
- Develop forecasts and manage lifecycle costs through budget submissions and work plan.
- Ensure compliance with groundwater related obligations arising from Environmental Authorities, the Water Act, and Commonwealth conditions of approval.
- Contribute technical expertise to hydrogeological and related studies by reviewing and refining project plans, data research and reports.
**About You**
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.
**To be considered for this role, you will ideally have**:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in science, majoring in hydrogeology or related field (environmental science, earth science).
- Extensive experience in hydrogeology.
- Proven experience and understanding of the Surat Basin regions.
- Coal seam gas industry and Queensland-based hydrogeology projects experience is desirable.
- Experience conducting hydrogeological assessments and developing fit for purpose monitoring and management targets.
- Skills for surveying of groundwater quality and level/pressure data.
- Groundwater monitoring, compliance and reporting experience.
- Managing hydrogeological projects and project management experience.
- Understanding of water and environmental legislation to translate legal requirements.
- Documenting risk assessments and excellent report writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills at strategic and tactical levels.
