We are seeking a Domestic Assistant (Cleaner/ Laundry) to join our team at Bethanie Bert England Lodge located in Rockingham. Bert England Lodge is a 44 bed facility offering dementia care as well as respite, located close to Rockingham General Hospital.

As a Domestic with Bethanie, it will be your responsibility to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of all communal areas and client’s rooms, whilst overseeing the effective day to day running of the facility.

This position is permanent part-time working the following roster pattern:
Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 2:00pm

32.5 hours per week

**About The Role**:

- Cleaning of furniture, bathrooms toilets & floors
- Dispose of waste products appropriately
- Maintain living areas in a clean, safe condition
- Ensure all personal laundry and linen is laundered correctly and ensure infection control practices are adhered to
- Plan duties to ensure service is delivered in the time allocated

**About You**:

- Possess a passion for, and previous experience working as a Cleaner, Laundry Assistant, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment.
- Have a “can do” attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to communicate both orally and written
- Willingness to uphold the vision, mission and values of The Bethanie Group
- A current police clearance or willingness to get one
- Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations 3x COVID and annual Flu vaccinations
