**Casual Medical Receptionist for Doctor-Owned General Practice**

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Manage incoming calls and schedule appointments using our practice management software.
- Process patient billing and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and photocopying.
- Maintain a clean and organised reception area, ensuring the availability of appropriate resources and materials.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards, including privacy and confidentiality.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors, responding to their enquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
- 20-30hours per week

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

- Minimum of 1-year experience in a medical receptionist role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service focus.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with practice management software (knowledge of Best Practice is desirable but not essential).
- Good organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
- A friendly and professional attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
