We are looking for a highly motivated and strategically minded individual to join our Team as a Partnerships Lead.

As a core member of the Policy and Program Delivery Team, you will be responsible for developing sponsorships and partnerships, and representing the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia Limited (PSA) as the peak body for pharmacists with a diverse group of external stakeholders.

Working collaboratively with other teams across the organisation, the role will also provide leadership and advice to the senior leadership team on current trends in the pharmaceutical, health and pharmacy industries.

The achievement of revenue targets, new business development and the management of a large number of external stakeholders to support the annual operating plan and strategic intent will be key.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in sales, business development or stakeholder engagement, a proven track record of achieving sales, KPIs and growing business imperatives and experience in the planning, development, implementation and management of strategic partnerships.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Lead the development and execution of a sustainable sponsorship and partnership growth strategy that aligns with the PSA Strategic Intent;
- Develop, implement and monitor an operational plan to support the strategy in line with key performance indicators that defines which opportunities to pursue and which programs to invest in by building on existing and new relationships;
- Provide leadership and expert advice to the Senior Leadership team on current trends in pharmacy and other related industries;
- Create tailored and innovative proposals and solutions that support both the PSA and partners’ strategic priorities with a clear understanding of agreed outcomes;
- Continue to evolve and review partnership offers within PSA to articulate the value proposition and return on investment for partners;
- Develop a strong network of stakeholders and maintain a visible presence in the pharmacy industry facilitated via face to face engagement and attendance at agreed events;
- Ensure that all agreed partnership benefits are delivered by the relevant PSA program leader(s), all partnership payments are received and reports are delivered in a timely manner;
- Travel as required within the duties of this position;

**What we are looking for**:

- At least 3-5 years’ experience in sales, business development or stakeholder engagement management;
- Proven track record of achieving sales, KPIs and growing business imperatives;
- Demonstrated experience in the planning, development, implementation and management of strategic partnerships;
- Proven success in developing and delivering strategic partnership programs to achieve financial targets;
- Proven experience in building and maintaining professional, client-focused relationships with stakeholders;
- Creative thinker with the ability to negotiate mutually beneficial partnerships;
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills including the ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure within various constraints, and deliver on time and within budget;
- Current pharmaceutical industry experience and network;
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (oral and written), including the ability to influence key stakeholders, resolve conflict and negotiate positive outcomes;
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously, leading a team and within a team, using motivation and initiative;

**Desirable**
- Advanced knowledge and understanding of the issues, needs and direction of the pharmacy profession;
- Relevant qualifications in pharmacy, business or marketing would be well regarded;
- Experience with Salesforce.
