The Lifetime Support Authority (LSA) plans and funds person-centred treatment, care and support for people who sustain serious, lifelong disabilities from motor vehicle accidents in South Australia, regardless of fault. Very serious injuries include brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, burns and blindness.

The LSA, which administers the Lifetime Support Scheme, is seeking expressions of interest from allied health and medical professionals to act as medical/clinical experts for its Expert Review Panels.

An Expert Review Panel can be convened to resolve a dispute about Scheme eligibility, or treatment, care and support needs when a dispute cannot be resolved internally.

The LSA is seeking a range of expertise across allied health professions and medical specialties.

The LSA has a dedicated skills-based Board that works closely with the passionate and progressive Chief Executive to ensure their vision for the organisation is realised within a structure of transparent governance and the highest standards of participant safety, service quality and process fairness.

Expressions of interest are encouraged from appropriately qualified medical/clinical/allied health professionals demonstrating relevant expertise. A genuine affinity with the purpose, vision and values of the LSA complemented by the highest levels of professional integrity are both essential qualities.
