Our client, a key player in material handling, seeks a Road Service Technician in Burnie, Tasmania. This role involves maintaining Forklifts, and ensuring safety and compliance. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Complete offsite maintenance on light forklifts
- Maintain safe practices.
- Adhere to OHS & E requirements.
- Work diligently within specified time frames.
- Examine requests, interpret schematics.
- Check accuracy and quality of repairs
- Conduct machine safety checks, maintenance
- Maintain a clean work station
- Perform Off Hire Checks, Pre Delivery Inspections
- Carry out basic engine servicing, electrical diagnosis, and fabrication work
- Dismantle faulty components.

**ROAD SERVICE / FIELD**:
**Vehicles**:

- Comply with company vehicle policies
- Adhere to customer/site regulations.
- Maintain updated inductions/qualifications.
- Cultivate positive customer relationships.

**Breakdowns**:

- Attend call-outs.
- Arrange swap-out equipment

**QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE**:

- Trade certificate or equivalent.
- Strong work ethic, teamwork, and independence.
- Reliability, punctuality, clear communication.
- Forklift experience.

**SALARY**:
Our client offers an attractive package:

- Base Salary: $45 - $50 per hour dependant on expeirence
- Additional: Company Vehicle, Phone, Tablet, Referral Programs, Extended annual leave.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 40 per week
