TOYOTA MATERIAL HANDLING AUSTRALIA (TMHA) – Field Service Technician

This position will be based out of our brand new Hobart Branch, servicing customers in and around that area

You will need the following skills to succeed:

  • Commitment to maintaining safe work practices
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation
  • Well developed mechanical aptitude
  • Good diagnostic and repair skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good time management skills with the ability to work independently
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic)

Essential aspects:

  • Current Driver's licence
  • Relevant Trade Qualification (non-forklift industry considered)
  • Possess good problem solving and decision making skills
  • Supply your own comprehensive personal hand tool kit
  • Previous experience in a similar role in an associated industry
  • Willingness to participate in training programs to increase your product knowledge and understanding of procedures, safe work practices, statutory responsibilities and licensing requirements.
