**Your role**
Our global Conflicts and New Business Intake department is expanding, and we are currently recruiting for a high-calibre Conflicts Analyst to join our team based in Australia.
The Conflicts Analyst works in collaboration with our Conflicts Risk Assessment Lawyers in conducting initial reviews and analysis of conflict checks, including the necessary due diligence for conflict requests associated with new business activities. Their role is to assess the accuracy and completeness of documentation to ensure a proper analysis can be conducted as well as research and analyse results in order to prepare summary reports of conflicts findings to Conflicts Risk Assessment Lawyers for further assessment. They also provide ongoing support with various risk management projects as required and answer general and specific questions from staff on conflicts and new business intake processes.

This role provides the opportunity to work in a hybrid or predominantly remote work environment (with the occasional in office meeting and social events at your closest Australian K&L Gates office in either Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney). **About you**
Ideally, you will have the following attributes:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a paralegal, legal assistant or legal researcher
- Qualifications in business or other relevant area of study
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to consistently exercise discretion and independent judgment
- High attention to detail with outstanding organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
- The ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
- A willingness to develop others through mentoring and sharing experiences and networks.
