The role is also responsible for managing vendor contracts for the department's supported system solutions and platforms, ensuring vendors deliver on their contractual obligations and adhering to their agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

**Accountabilities**:

- Provide strong leadership and management to team to ensure the successful transition of system solution projects to level 3 support, requests for minor enhancements, and incident management and resolution, all on time, on budget, with high quality and meets customer expectations.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the department's approved platforms and systems.
- Forge strong connections across the department, executive sponsors, steering committees and business owners, to facilitate a partnership approach to solution delivery and system management.
- Provide strategic thinking, innovation and process re-engineering to support the delivery of high quality solution outcomes including delivery of minor enhancements and level 3 incident/defect resolution that meets business and citizen expectations.
- Manage vendor contracts for the teams supported system solutions, ensuring vendors deliver to their contractual obligations.
- Identify and mitigate Program risks as they pertain to the systems support within this team, while interfacing with other program areas where risks impact multiple areas.
- Setup and maintain system performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and ensure compliance by internal and external vendor teams.
- Accountable for the team's adherence to the government, IDS and SSU's strategies, policies and methodologies (e.g. PDM).
- Accountable for the team's preparation, development, maintenance and management of detailed work estimates and schedules for minor enhancements and defects identified.
- Accountable for the team's performance on incident management for level 3 support.
- Accountable for the teams overall financial management across all funding mechanisms.

- providing employees with relevant information and access to safe systems of work
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
- Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
