**ABOUT US**
**The Maylands Hotel** was established in 1883 and is located in the stunning leafy backstreets, an eastern suburb favourite. The Maylands Hotel has been recognised by the AHA for Best Metro Gaming Venue and most recently The Maylands Hotel Bar + Kitchen has taken out the award for Best Bistro (Metropolitan) at the 2021 Australian Hotels Association (SA) awards. The AHA awards are recognised as the most prestigious awards in the hospitality industry, they honour the achievement of excellence.
**The Maylands** venue aesthetic embodies old-world charm and authenticity with a modern twist, it feels like home. This is a true gastropub A venue that is passionate about local produce, nourishing people, and creating great tasting plates. Our kitchen serves all-day dining with traditional pub classics and a little bit fancy' modern Australian dishes, complemented by an array of refreshing craft beers and local wines.
**ABOUT THE JOB**
The **Gaming Manager **will report to the **Venue Manager** and lead a small and reliable team. The Gaming Manager is responsible for the management of the gaming room operations, this includes;
- Coordinating all customer service operations and delivering superior service to maximize customer satisfaction and experience in the gaming area.
- Responding efficiently to customer complaints and gaming machine issues and ensuring compliance with all relevant gaming licencing laws.
- Responsibilities include maintaining the gaming room’s revenue profitability and quality goals, as well as maintaining high productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
- As a full-time salaried position, the role will be instrumental as part of the venue's leadership continuing to push the hotel and gaming room to new heights.
- We offer a unique entertainment experience for our customers, with an eye for detail, accuracy and compliance with gaming legislation being a top priority.
- Previous bar and gaming experience are required with evidence of the relevant certificates and qualifications.
- Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster including nights, weekends and public holidays is required.

- Prior experience in a hospitality management role
- Be motivated by a passion for quality and great service delivery
- Solid knowledge of beverage products and bar presentation
- Experience scheduling, managing, and training staff
- Can work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- RSA and RP Badge **(Essential)**:
- Basic and Advanced Gaming **(Essential)**
