**The opportunity**
Goal Group is seeking a Commercial Specialists (L3) to join our team in Canberra, working on complex commercial and procurement outcomes within the Defence project environment in Canberra.

Your role will involve but not be limited to:

- Providing input and advice on procurement and commercial procedures, technical details and best practice, tender process (including administration of procurement panels), coordination and release of RFQ's, tender evaluation and recommendations.
- Supporting procurement, including defining requirements, building an assessment methodology and provide advice to evaluation board.
- Developing briefs for various stakeholders to guide decision making and oversight.
- Other tasks as may be required.

**About you**
- Current/recent experience in a Defence capability acquisition commercial/contracts (L3) role with an understanding of Defence procurement processes, procedures and overall framework;
- Experience in development of complex Defence capability related RFT, RFI, RFQ documentation/contracts;
- Experience in providing procurement/commercial/contract advice, assistance, to facilitate risk management, ethics, and project probity requirements
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
- Ability to hold and maintain a Commonwealth of Australia Security Clearance NV1 (note only Australian Citizens are eligible to obtain such a clearance).
