About the Role
- Participate in and contribute to the coder-clinician liaison program to verify clinical documentation for coding purposes.
- The advanced coder is acknowledged as having high level clinical coding skills and knowledge, across a broad range of specialties in a tertiary setting, through extensive on the job experience.
- Actively participate in the departmental auditing process whereby coded records are reviewed by senior coding staff or other Queensland Health agencies for accuracy.
