**About the Role**

In this vital role, you’ll be the driving force behind emergency planning, preparedness, and response across Melbourne Park. Reporting to the Director of Precinct Operations and Australian Open, you’ll ensure our Emergency Management Framework is up to date, understood, and effectively implemented. You'll collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including Tennis Australia, emergency services, and venue managers to enhance preparedness, training, and real-time response capability for both event and non-event periods.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Review and maintain the Melbourne Park Emergency Management Plan and related documentation.
- Coordinate the Emergency Planning Committee, including meeting facilitation and compliance with AS 3745.
- Develop and manage emergency training programs and drill schedules for wardens, staff, and key stakeholders.
- Lead the planning and delivery of emergency exercises for the Australian Open and other major events.
- Liaise with Fire Rescue Victoria and other emergency agencies to ensure alignment on incident response.
- Oversee resources such as warden kits, evacuation diagrams, and first aid readiness.
- Provide leadership to Fire Indicator Panel Operators and support workforce capability through training and post-event reviews.
- Support project work related to emergency communications and infrastructure readiness.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in maintaining documentation and resource readiness.
- Effective stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build productive partnerships across agencies, tenants, and internal teams.
- Experience in delivering training, facilitating drills, and promoting operational readiness in high-profile or complex environments.
- Experience with permanent and temporary infrastructure environments.
- Confidence under pressure and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Clear and confident communicator with strong written reporting skills.

**Qualifications & Experience (Desired, Not Essential)**
- PUAFER or TAE qualifications related to emergency response and training.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Emergency Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
