Trainee Junior Legal Assistant (Workers Compensation)

What are we looking for?

Workers Compensation | Permanent Full Time opportunity | Ringwood

We have a fantastic opportunity for a positive, energetic and highly motivated Trainee Junior Legal Assistant to join our Workers Compensation team in Ringwood. This is a permanent full-time position.

Our clients can be entitled to a range of benefits and compensation under the Workers Compensation and TAC schemes. Our lawyers in the Workers Compensation team understand that suffering a workplace injury can present major hurdles to overcome. They support our clients every step of the way with care, understanding, flexibility and support. Our lawyers take care of the legal needs, so our clients can take care of their recovery.

This exciting entry level position will have you responsible for providing administrative support to our busy team, with ongoing training and development. Daily duties will include:

- File administration
- Diary management
- Liaising and corresponding with clients, doctors, insurers and others.
- Working with a close knit, high achieving team you will be guided and mentored throughout your role with the opportunity to grow and develop your career.

What will you bring?
- Experience in administration or customer service
- A Certificate III, Diploma and/or experience in the legal field will be highly regarded but is not essential
- Outstanding communication skills
- Organised and proactive approach
- Ability to confidently multi-task
- A willingness to learn
- Friendly and cheerful demeanour
