**Purpose of the Role**

BGIS is seeking a highly capable **Facilities Manager**to oversee the successful delivery of a high-profile aviation contract at a critical site. Reporting directly to the Account Manager, you’ll lead a small team and manage service delivery, compliance, and subcontractor performance, while ensuring contractual, financial, and safety KPIs are consistently met.

This full-time role is based **Onsite at Brisbane Airport**, with **free parking**. The role includes participation in a **1-in-4 week on-call rotation**, providing operational continuity for a 24/7 client environment.

You are proactive, solutions-oriented, and confident in your ability to lead facility operations in a live, complex environment. You bring experience in asset management and team supervision, with a strong understanding of compliance and risk mitigation in high-touchpoint, regulated settings.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead onsite service delivery to meet performance and compliance targets.
- Develop and manage budgets, invoices, and contractor performance.
- Build strong relationships with the client through proactive communication and service excellence.
- Oversee subcontractor management, site safety, and risk compliance.
- Coordinate reporting, inspections, and audits.

**Education, Experience & Skills**

**Essential**:

- Trade qualification (Mechanical/Electrical) with post-trade engineering diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience managing large-scale facilities or maintenance operations.
- Financial acumen - budgeting, procurement, invoicing, and reporting.
- Proficiency in desktop software and CMMS platforms.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in alliance or collaborative contracting models.
- Exposure to sustainability, ESD, or energy efficiency initiatives.
- Familiarity with complex client environments such as aviation or critical infrastructure.

**Workplace Flexibility**

This is a full-time onsite role located in Brisbane. Flexible or hybrid work arrangements are limited. Addition of a travel requirement to regional airports on a quarterly basis for essential service inspections.
