**Chief Financial Officer**

Based in the Newcastle NSW region, the CFO will be a key member of the Executive team and accountable for the strategic and operational leadership of the Finance, Procurement, IT, Continuous Improvement, Audit, Energy Strategy and Energy Efficiency functions. The CFO will also have Company Secretary responsibilities, and in conjunction with the CEO, will liaise regularly with the board and provide quality reports and information.

The CFO role at Tomago Aluminium is highly visible both internally and externally and will possess knowledge of the domestic energy market (electricity and gas) as well as related political and business environments. The role will also provide guidance in the development of business plans and strategies and you will possess exceptional negotiation skills to manage large and complex contracts.

**To be considered for this role you will have**:

- Executive level experience within a large organisation
- Understanding of the Australian Energy market
- Degree qualification in finance (or related), with CA / CPA certification
- People management experience of a large team
- Business critical supply contract management experience
- Experience working with complex business or political stakeholder groups
- Understanding of company secretary responsibilities
