ING, Australia’s most recommended bank is looking for an experienced **Business Control Specialist** for our **Group Treasury (GT) Control, Change and Transformation** function.

Group Treasury (GT) Control, Change and Transformation is a 1st LoD function within Group Treasury (GT). Other institutions may refer to this role as Business Management.

This key role provides the interface between Treasury and various functions within ING - Finance, Operations (including First Line Business Controls Office, Payments, Reconciliations), IT (Treasury System Support), Risk and Compliance (Operational Risk Management, Model Risk Management, Credit Risk, Regulatory, Compliance) to name a few.

We’re on the hunt for a professional, dedicated, results oriented person in creating and maintaining an operationally efficient environment that is compliant, future proof, and facilitates seamless execution of Group Treasury’s Business and control processes.

The Control aspects involve the management of Non-Financial Risks within Group Treasury. This includes Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA’s), Product Control Frameworks, compliance with Benchmarks regulation, expense management and general monitoring within Treasury to keep us within acceptable risk appetite.

To be successful, you’ll have a high degree of accuracy and a flexible approach as the daily tasks can be driven by the requirements and deadlines specific to the day so every day can look different. In addition, there are a set tasks to be undertaken on a regular basis.

**What you’ll do**
- Change and Transformation: process improvements - both in practices and in system enhancements to improve monitoring and change (system development life cycle through build, test, implement phases)
- Control, Compliance and Operational Risk Support: monitor in line with ING Policies including but not limited to mandatory training and leave compliance, market Abuse and Personal Data Protection Policy obligations (gifts, document retention), complete monthly Key Risk Indicators for Group Treasury, quarterly compliance checks for the team completion of Product Control Framework testing for Group Treasury in association with Business Controls Office and reporting on Treasury Counterparties and their status and maintain the Group Treasury Critical counterparty list for Australia
- Expense Management: process purchase orders and invoices for payment, manage supplier enquiries and end of year accrual management for invoices

**What we’re looking for**
- Experience in implementing controls and using monitoring tools
- 3+ Years’ experience in Banking - Financial Markets or Treasury experience and Non-Financial Risk - experience - either 1LOD or 2LOD would be highly advantageous
- Experience with policy and procedure documentation and implementation
- Excellent MS Suite office and general administration skills - PeopleSoft knowledge is highly regarded
- Someone who is self-motivated and shows initiative with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail and collaborative approach to solving issues
