Order Desk Representative

As a Customer Service professional within FLSmidth, you will work within a diverse team to assist with aftermarket customer and sales support. To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a technical internal sales role in a manufacturing, warehousing or purchasing environment.
- Please note this is a full-time fixed term contract for approx. 12 months.

Job responsibilities- Ensuring sales quotes are raised and responded to using standard operating procedures within agreed timeframes.-
- Creating or converting sales orders from sales quotes as per standard operating procedures-
- Proactively notifying customers and/or the sales team at the earliest opportunity where a delay in, or issue with delivery is identified.-
- Liaising with warehousing or shipping companies regarding customer dispatch freight needs or freight verification (where applicable)-
- Ensuring invoicing is completed and issued once goods are available for shipment using standard operating procedures within agreed timeframes.-
- Responding to customer queries in a timely and courteous manner-
- Maintaining accurate customer records and profiles including shipment instructions, archiving of files-
- Accurate and timely entry of data into systems, review of mailbox and process of orders.-
- Advising customers of process should products be required to be returned.What you bring- Experience using ERP systems (ie Epicor)-
