**Company**

We are currently engages with a growing infrastructure company in Brisbane who are looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to join the team. This role is 80% site based, requiring regular travel to different sites across South East Queensland.

The role would suit someone who has been hands on in a construction, mining, roofing, water or food processing industry, someone who has a keen eye for detail and quality and who is used to travelling to site and dealing with multiple stakeholders.

**Role**:

- Ensure all works carried out are within scope and meet the assigned levels of quality.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for quality assurance and control.
- Train and educate employees on quality control procedures.
- Conduct WHS audits to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Compile Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) for each project.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to quality issues.
- Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities and provide regular reports to management.

**About you**:

- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Officer in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Strong understanding of construction regulations and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to travel frequently to different sites across South East Queensland.
- Tertiary qualification in a related field, such as engineering or construction management, is desirable.
