**FUNCTION**: Marketing

**SALARY RANGE**:AUD 80,000 - AUD 85,000 + superannuation & other benefits

**LOCATION**:Sydney, Australia

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

The purpose of this role is to assist the team in managing Discounting budget and forecast, and interpretation of data to drive insights. Play a role in driving growth and achievement of the overall company objectives on brand, volume, spend and share.

**Reports to**:Senior Commercial Finance Manager

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Assist the team in managing discounting budget and forecast for monthly business review and ad hoc scenario analysis.
- Align with Demand Planning team to provide accurate and timely analysis on volume movements to facilitate discounting forecasting accuracy.
- Identify and propose improvement opportunities in current process and tools to enhance and improve effectiveness of discounting tracking and forecasting accuracy.
- Responsible for managing in store promotions, tracking and compliance.
- Assist the team in ROI analysis on Discounting investment evaluation.
- Data mining to highlight trends/opportunities and ideas as well as managing volume and share analysis.
- Assist the team in ensuring Sox and controls compliance.

**CRUCIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- At least 1-3 years’ experience in a Trade Analyst, Business Analyst or Data analyst role.
- Strong analytical ability to proactively identify trends, issues and opportunities and translate these into insightful & compelling commercial stories and recommendations.
- Strong Excel, and PowerPoint skills. Anaplan, Salesforce,Aztec, SAP and Power BIknowledge is encouraged.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in addition to presentation skills
- Degree in Marketing/Business/Data Science or any related field.
