We are seeking a talented **Commercial Business Analyst** to join our highly skilled Commercial Finance team based at Macquarie Park in Sydney.

**What You'll Do**:

- **Drive Financial Excellence**: Manage pricing tools, traded commodities, and position reports to provide accurate insights and financial performance.
- **Optimize Marketing & Trade Spend**: Analyze promotional investments, trading terms, and marketing budgets to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- **Deliver Performance Insights**: Oversee financial integrity during month-end, forecast reviews, and provide compelling performance commentary.
- **Partner for Success**: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to deliver actionable profitability analyses, pricing recommendations, and ad hoc project support.

**What You'll Bring**:
We're looking for someone who's ready to take ownership and make an impact, with:

- **Proven Commercial Finance Analyst Experience**: A few years working in a fast-paced, commercial environment (FMCG or retail experience highly desirable).
- **Exceptional Communication Skills**: Confidence to engage, challenge and collaborate effectively across teams.
- **Strong Analytical Expertise**: A sharp eye for detail with problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused mindset.
- **Tech-Savvy Approach**: Advanced Excel capabilities (Macros, Power Pivot, Conditional Sum) and experience with tools like SAP, BW, and BI platforms.
- **Professional Drive**: Business qualifications are desirable but not essential-we're more interested in your personality, passion and potential
