Telco technicians and assistants play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications systems and equipment. Technicians may specialise in areas such as installation, maintenance, repair, network configuration, field service, or engineering. Assistants support technicians by performing tasks such as data entry, inventory management, and equipment assembly. Both positions require strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team.

- Asbestos Pit Remediation and Drilling into Asbestos Containing Material - WHS03
- Construct underground telecommunications infrastructure - ICTCBL213
- Construction Industry O H & S Card
- Driver Licence (Class C)
- Gas test atmospheres-(MSMWHS217) or Confined Space entry (R11WHS202E)
- Identify, locate and protect underground services - (RIICCM202A,RIICCM202D,RIICCM202E )
- Implement traffic management plan - ( RIIWHS302E )
- Install underground enclosures and conduit - ICTCBL307
- NBN - Customer Experience Module (CX Part 1 and 2)
- NBN - Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Awareness
- NBN Enable Contractor ID Card
- Police Check Certificate
- Right to Work in Australia
