**Civil Hauler**
**About the role**:

- Pipe proving ducts using jetters and rodders
- Installing telecommunication pits (all sizes) and other underground infrastructure
- Previous experience in Pipe Proving/Scoping Ability to haul various types of cable types/sizes
- Fibre
- Basic Civil works experience
- Trenching
- Spotting machinery
- Troubleshooting, testing, repairing and servicing technical equipment where needed in defined timeframes.
- Operation of tools and machinery (e.g. whacker packer, generator, grundomat, excavator)
- Asbestos removal
- Concrete restoration
- Install telecommunication conduits (P50 or P100) via manual trench or groundomat
- Asset locating

**What you need**:

- At least 2 years civil construction and telecommunications experience. (Cable hauling, Pit & Pipe, Trenching preferable)
- Pit & Pipe Certification
- HR or MR Licence and excavator competency will be highly regarded
- Identify, locate and protect underground services (RIICCM202E)
- Hold ACM removal license (CPCCDE3014A)
- Preferred but not mandatory - supervise ACM removal license (CPCCBC4051A)
- Hold Identify, locate, and protect underground services license (RIICCM202A/D)
- Hold pit, pipe and hauling license (ICTCBL207, ICTCBL308, ICTCBL213 & ICTCBL307)
- Hold first aid and CPR certificate (HLTAID003 (Includes HLTAID001 & HLTAID002))
- Ability to read plan and DYBD

**Fibre Splicer**
**About the role**:

- Fibre splicing and integration training to workforce including both NBN DFN & LFN fiber network;
- Installing communications racks and structural supports;
- Installing equipment line cards, fibre SFP modules and associated interfaces.
- Installing network equipment including earthing and DC power cabling;
- Fibre Installation (Preparation, handling hygiene & termination of Ribbon & Multi-core fibre);
- Fault Finding;
- Eabelling to required standards;
- Testing - Insertion Loss Testing & OTDR of all Fibre Cables
Integration of FTTN, FTTB and FTTC equipment
- Scope of works preparation, material ordering and reconciliation;
- Ability to read, understand and mark-up telecommunication plans
- Safety & Quality Inspections & Non Conformance Reporting;
- Maintain the skill levels of workforce to meet client needs.
- As-Built Documentation including red lines, artifacts and completion of fibre workbooks;
- Sound understanding of WHS requirements including WIs, SWMS & Risk Assessments.

**What you need**:

- More than 1 year working experience in Fibre splicing, trouble shooting and team management on a major telecommunication network.
- Fibre splicing and testing certificates required.
- Traffic Management card (Yellow Card) preferred.
- Confined space & gas detection preferred.
- Working at height preferred.

**Trade Assistant**
**About the role**:

- Assist trade workers with lifting and hauling cables
- Assist trade workers with laying of cable
- Assist with installation and maintenance of telecommunications devices
- Conform to safety regulations and requirements
- Perform manual tasks associated with installation
- Pipe proving / RRP.
- Basic blockage clearing skill including dig down repair and flush.
- Scoping, site survey and feedback information to back office.
- Install telecommunication pits
- Trench and install telecommunication conduit
- Rod & roping and pipe proving
- Dig down or flush to fix blockage
- Telecommunication cable hauling
- Concrete breakout and reinstatement
- Pick up or deliver material

**All the position required:

- **NBN enable qualified.
- Construction Card (White Card) required.
- Australian (C Class) Drivers Licence.
- Police check (within 6 months): Must be clear with no convictions.
- Full Australian Work Rights.
