**About you**
As our,
**_Property Design & Project Lead_**, you will be working closely with independent project managers, National and local faculty managers and the broader Property Services and Procurement team to develop the strategy from design inception to implementation, including contract management of contractors and suppliers to ensure delivery according to specification. You will be responsible for delivery and implementation of the workplace design model for RACGP.

You possess:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Property Management, or other relevant field..
- Strong project management skills with experience running commercial fit out projects.
- Experience at liaising and dealing with legislative requirements on building codes and local government/council requirements during construction and major maintenance projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing relationships with co-tenants and building / property managers
- Ability to prioritise work and to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills at all levels of an organisation.
- Microsoft Project.
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management.
- Experience in influencing management and executive across the business
- Experience in $5-10M refurbishment and other building improvement projects.
- Demonstrated change management and risk management experience

**About the opportunity**
Reporting to the
**National Building Manager, **you will oversee:

- Strategy development for Level 1 Faculty membership and training areas working with key stakeholders across Faculty and GP Training, IT and other related business units.
- Strategy development for full building restack for optimised space utilisation and workplace experience, working with key stakeholders and influencing across management and executive.
- Project business case with budget estimates to be developed for approval and implementation.
- End to end coordination of projects, including fit out and capital works for Victorian Head Office.
- Planning and coordination of trades with risk management, scheduling and reporting on financials as required.
- Build strong and effective relationships with stakeholders with open and constructive communication throughout.
- Ensure organisational policies, procedures and practices are implemented, complied with and are relevant - particularly in relation to OH&S/WHS requirements and legislation.
- Coordinate the logistics of staff moves with People and Culture whilst building work is undertaken and for full building restack.
- Monitor and report on property services operational budgets and project capital budgets as required.
- Supervision and contract management of contractors and suppliers engaged to perform Level 1 facilities changes and broader restack.
- Ensure Environmental and Work Health and Safety Responsibilities are met throughout project activity.
- Comply with all relevant workplace policies and procedures.
