**What Will You Be Doing**:
- Lead the internal controls review programme, encompassing planning, walkthroughs, testing and reporting.
- Document control weaknesses, articulating findings to management to ensure alignment and agree action plans. Track and report on action plan progress.
- Partner with the stakeholders to raise awareness of the importance of controls and embedding controls capability and ownership within the business
- Support the development of an IT General Controls (ITGC) governance framework in collaboration with the Senior Controls Manager.
- Prepare information for Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Committee reports and coordinate Internal Audit remediation updates.
- Provide ad hoc advisory support on internal controls-related matters.
- Manage queries from external audit.
**What we are looking for**:
- Professional qualification in accounting (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA or similar).
- 5 years' experience in an accounting, finance, audit or a SOX compliance role.
- Possess an appropriate combination of technical expertise alongside effective stakeholder management skills, with a focus on collaboration and outcomes.
- Solid listening skills and ability to identify gaps in logic - inquisitive.
- Ability to articulate controls issues verbally and in writing in an audience-appropriate style.
- Must be able to conduct reviews independently and document the procedures with mínimal supervision.
- Proven track record in managing multiple priorities and meeting strict deadlines..
- Ability to flourish in a fast-paced, complex environment and willing to adapt to change.
