The role requires the administrative assistant to tend the reception area and perform administrative duties as per job description. Within their role, they must demonstrate high levels of customer service accordingly.
- High level written and verbal communication skills
- Computing skills in Microsoft Office package and experience of maintaining a client management system
- Self-management skills to prioritise and manage time effectively, recognise and maintain professional boundaries, participate in supervision, and reflect and learn from experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment to set and achieve shared goals, and engage in collaborative practice.
- Managing roasters, updating schedule of support and file documents.
- Work Health & Safety, including participation in the risk management program and ensuring a clean, safe work environment.
- Communications, including interaction with internal and external stakeholders in a customer-centric and efficient manner
- A show of understanding about NDIS, dealing with clients and support workers when necessary
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within the disability sector and understanding and experience of Mental Health.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure
- Reliable and punctual with a happy disposition
- Analytical thinking and process improvement skills.
**Other requirements**
- Customer Service experience
- NDIS screening check.
- NDIS Worker Orientation module
- Fully Covid Vaccinated, including booster.
- A current driver’s license (full license preferred).
- Comprehensive car insurance (must be able to provide evidence).
- Covid 19 Infection control
**Job Types**: Fixed term, Casual
Contract length: 11 months
Pay: $33.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
