**About the role**:
The Procurement and Contracts Officer - Cleaning is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement and contract management process supporting and servicing department sites for the provision of cleaning services. Managing contracts through project management, supplier relationship management and strong analytical reviews the position focuses on driving outcomes including efficiency and value for money, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Overseeing and managing contract negotiations, compliance, performance management and continuous improvement initiatives for sites and contracts, the Procurement and Contracts Cleaning Officer collaborates and communicates with a range of internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership and most importantly - empowers and supports schools.

This position manages procurement projects with a high level of autonomy to ensure all documentation and activities comply with the department’s Procurement Framework, other relevant legislation and Treasurer’s Instruction 18.

**Special conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.

The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO5 $85,790 - $95,413 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading
