We currently have an opportunity for enthusiastic Kitchen Hand's to join us on a Part Time basis at our Moonee Ponds Home.

**About your role**:
As a Kitchen Hand using your previous hospitality experience, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, presentation, serving and clean-up of meals to our residents. You will bring a strong commitment to customer service, food safety, and an understanding of special dietary requirements that will have a positive impact on the wellbeing of our residents.

You will therefore hold strong communication skills combined with the ability to build positive and warm working relationships with residents and colleagues.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Assist with monitoring and recording requirements of the Food Safety Program
- Contribute to a clean and safe working environment to ensure the safety of our residents, visitors and staff
- Preparation and cleaning in accordance with the Food Safety Program

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Organised, can-do attitude to what can be a physically demanding team environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work across **any day** of the week
- Flexibility to work shifts of up to 8 hours
- Willing to commit to 3 or more shifts per week on an ongoing basis
- Previous experience in Hotel Services (Kitchen) within an Aged Care Environment (**Highly Desirable**)
- Sound knowledge of Food Safety
- Ability to provide up to date vaccination ( Covid & Flu)
