We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and highly organised individual to join our Bethanie Maintenance team as a **Maintenance Coordinator. **This opportunity will be for on a **9 month, fixed term part time basis** where you are required to be available from **Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:00pm.**

**About the role**:
The Maintenance Coordinator is an integral member of a multidisciplinary team who is responsible for organising all Bethanie Maintenance staff ensuring an effective flow through of maintenance request and adequate records are kept on behalf of The Bethanie group in accordance with all relevant legislation and licensing requirements. Ensure that all services are delivered by appropriately qualified and or competent staff. Provide reports to site staff as required, while assisting staff to meet the Aged Care Accreditation Standards.

***Responsibilities include**:

- Checking, correcting and allocating incoming maintenance requests
- Liaise with site staff if maintenance requests are entered incorrectly or missing information
- Transferring/escalating existing Work Orders For example: between a maintenance worker to tradesman, village manager to web contractor
- Input times for relief work orders and action taken for call outs,
- Respond to site staff queries and provide updates
- Manage Pulse Buildings database. For example: Create portfolios for new properties when developed (Departments, Building, Rooms etc), amend rooms where is a change of purpose, update all building and room details for retirement village clients (new admissions, vacated clients)
- Create requisitions for Tradesman and Maintenance Admin purchases for all sites
- Provide Tradesman with Pulse PO to all ARM Standing BO purchases for all sites
- Obtain copies of all invoice purchases and enter into Pulse database

**About you**:

- Previous experience in as a maintenance coordinator
- Previous experience within an Aged Care, or Community Care environment is desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer and administration skills
- Experience with Pulse/ Beims system is desirable
- Ability to organise and schedule trades, to supervise and control costs
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Willing to obtain required vaccinations - COVID 19 and flu vaccinations
