**THE ROLE**
The Tenancy and Property Team Leader:
- Manages public housing tenancies and properties with a priority of sustaining tenancies, incorporating early intervention strategies such as regular and early home visiting and support to tenancies identified as being at risk
- Maintains strong relationships with the Housing Assessment and Advisory Team.
The Team Leader role is to manage and coordinate the operational requirements of the Tenancy and Property team, managing, leading and support the team to delivery a quality client service.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Lead a team in providing or contributing to authoritative and expert advice and recommendations consistent with organisational goals and values.
- Manage the allocation of resources within and the outputs required of the work area to achieve service delivery goals and expectations.
- Effectively supervise and provide leadership to a team of employees by:
- leading and supporting individuals to achieve their potential and contribution to organisational goals and outcomes
- modelling behaviours integral to good people management and departmental values
- where relevant, managing and monitoring specific improvement objectives in annual improvement plans relating to the area of responsibility
- pro-actively building and maintaining positive relationships with peers and stakeholders across the organisation.
