**About Gray Puksand**:
Gray Puksand is an Australian architecture and integrated design practice with over 150 highly engaged design professionals across 4 studios in Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, and Sydney.
Our vision is to create an inspired future with beautiful, authentic, and considered projects that improve the way people work, learn and live.
**About the Role**:
We are looking for experienced Architectural Technicians with advanced Revit skills and strong construction and detailing knowledge to join our thriving team in Melbourne. Working remotely, you will have the best of both worlds; the flexibility to work as efficiently as possible by eliminating the long commute to the CBD, and the opportunity to work on first-rate projects across multiple sectors including Commercial, Education, Seniors Living, Retail, Workspace and Health and Science. You will need to be a self-starter who enjoys working in a team and can also lead the delivery of documentation packages on large projects.
You will have an opportunity to be involved in projects from start to finish and play a leading role in managing and coordinating packages. We have a continuous improvement mentality so we look for team members who will assist us in the ongoing development of our documentation standards and BIM management, as well as the ongoing development and mentoring of the team.
The beauty of this role is that the parameters are really defined by you. You may choose to work entirely remotely, only popping into the Melbourne Studio once a month to collaborate with the team, or you may choose a combination of remote and onsite working, coming in 1 or 2 days every fortnight, once a week, once every three weeks - the choice is entirely yours. You will be supported by a national Corporate Services team and become part of our fun-loving, dedicated, and creative Melbourne Studio, comprising over 90 Architects and Designers, Architectural Technicians, Interior Designers and Graphic Design professionals.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare documentation to a high degree of accuracy and within deadlines
- Assist in the preparation of construction detailing and documentation
- Prepare documentation in accordance with Gray Puksand’s Revit standards and the project management system
- Understand all aspects of a project, the project team and project delivery method
- Undertake any on-site work to a high degree of accuracy, on a first visit basis where required
- Understand the construction method of the project being documented
- Assist in the continuous development of our Revit and Documentation standards
- In future, act as the primary local contact for all Revit and documentation related matters support, training and inductions
**About you**:
We are looking for passionate and driven individuals who want to be part of a growing company that has a strong focus on the continuous development of Documentation standards and design technology.
As we have been using Revit for over 10 years, you will need to have a strong knowledge of Revit and be able to produce thorough and considered documents within what can sometimes be quick timeframes. You need to be a go-getter and have strong construction knowledge and detailing abilities.
**What is on Offer?**
***
Gray Puksand can offer:
- Structured Professional Development and Pathway to Partnership Program
- Passionate, highly engaged, respectful, fun-loving team
- An empowering and encouraging leadership team
- A growing national firm who will support your career as it goes from strength to strength
- High calibre projects with a responsive design approach allowing you to be innovative and think ‘out of the box’
- Structured Development, Learning and Mentoring Programs
