Warehouse Supervisor

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Based at our Brisbane Airport Warehouse, we currently have an opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to assist DC Manager and coordinate the bonded warehouse with inward and outward goods’ movements, ticketing requirements, stock takes and stock control, among others.

**THIS ROLE WILL SEE YOU**:

- Manage warehouse staff and functions in absence of DC Manager
- Coordinate inward and outward stock movements from the warehouse to the Airport stores and interstate warehouses, including stock receiving and dispatching
- Accurate picking and packing of inwards and outwards goods in an appropriate manner
- Accurately record all receipts and dispatches via the computer system
- Liaising and follow through with buyers and replenishment analysts on damaged stocks and special orders
- Liaising with HO compliance on store remissions
- Ensuring all customs regulations are adhered to
- Maintain clean and orderly warehouse
- Accurately conduct regular stock takes
- Perform ticketing adjustments
- To ensure all of the required Occupational Health and Safety procedures are adhered to
- Preparing and assisting custom officers in bond audit and liaising with HO compliance to follow through custom’s recommendations to ensure full compliance
- Coach and develop crew members on the bonded warehouse functions

**YOUR KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES WILL BE**:

- Accurate customs compliance
- Picking and Inventory accuracy - 99 %
- Effective coordination and accuracy in stock receiving, storage, security tagging, dispatch and ticketing
- Achievement of sales targets on a weekly basis via timely receiving and despatch of goods and support to Store team

**WHO ARE YOU**

**Essential**
- Previous experience managing warehouse teams
- Experience working with RF (warehouse management systems)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office ( Excel, Word etc ) skills
- Previous intermediate administrative experience
- Experience in providing exceptional customer service
- High level of numerical skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
- Valid Driver’s license
- Ability to manage various competing priorities and ability to assess and resolve intermediate problems
- Demonstrated ability to work well and effectively as part of a team
- Ability to work independently when required
- Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
- High level of attention to detail
- A sense of urgency and the ability to translate this into effective organisational practices and time management

**Desirable**
- Experience working in a bonded warehouse
- Knowledge / experience in Duty Free operations
- Knowledge / experience of international brands
- Knowledge / experience of retail operations

**WAREHOUSE OPERATING HOURS**

6am - 2:30pm (Mon-Fri)
