**Description**:
**About the Role**:
Dynamics are looking for a strategic Category Manager to join the Dynamics Team in Malaga, WA.
This is a full-time position where you will own the strategic management of products, set the long-term vision and strategy for products whilst working across the business with various department representatives.
**Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)**:
**Strategically manage specified products by**:
Executing on product strategies set by senior management.
Owning the category roadmap.
**Product Knowledge**:
Continue to learn, maintain, and improve professional/technical knowledge.
Provide product and competitor information to the Technical and Training Specialist to maintain a central database.
Work closely with the Sales Team to support strategic product and company objectives by:
Having a good overview of product pipelines and forecasts.
Developing messaging to maximise product values.
Work closely with the Marketing Team to support strategic product and company objectives by:
Providing direction for key messages in category specific campaigns.
Supplying product values and USP’s.
Work closely with the Operations Team to support strategic product and company objectives by:
Researching and establishing new suppliers.
Providing technical support to resolve defect and/or QC issues.
**Skills and Experiences**:
**About You**:
Knowledge of, or experience in, the mining industry
Knowledge of, or experience in, the Dynamics product range
Experience in Category/Product Management
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), along with superior attention to detail
Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, planning, and organisation skills
Driven, and a track record of delivering on targets and projects.
Strong aptitude for product and technical knowledge
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively.
A strong team player who aligns with the Dynamics G-Ex values.
