Our client based in Perth is looking for a Finance Officer for a temporary period. This is a great opportunity to work within a government department

**Your new role**

As a Finance Officer, you will be responsible for:

- Perform credit card dispute management processes and liaison with CBA, PayPal and Jumbo as required
- Perform daily fraud management monitoring, analysis, and detection processes
- Prepare daily and monthly transaction reports
- Liaise with external and internal stakeholders regarding payments, invoices, and purchase order processing
- Assisting with the accounts payable payment process
- Prepare finance related reconciliation
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships with both external and internal stakeholders
- Prepare general ledger journals
- Monitor and process online gaming daily transactions
- Any other duties as required

**What you'll need to succeed**

Experience in the similar position required but also:

- Experience in undertaking and coordinating accounts payable and procure to pay activities
- Demonstrate knowledge in the financial administration of online membership databases
- Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks efficiently
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives
- Good analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
- Tertiary qualification or a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
