We are seeking a qualified Trade Assistant, to join our Service team in Perth, WA

**About the role**

The duties as outlined below but not limited to:

- Picking and packing of mechanical equipment (inward and outward goods).
- Pick-up and delivery of workshop equipment.
- Trade Assistant duties for Hydraulic Technicians and Hose Technicians when required.
- Assist with tool store and hire fleet management.
- Assist with calibration system for workshop equipment.
- Assist with general duties such as procurement, store liaison, job identification, workshop maintenance and clean up.
- Assist with routine maintenance and repairs of workshop equipment.
- And any other duties as reasonably required from time to time.
- Promote a positive HSE culture in the workplace.
- Identify and report problems in processes, systems, or procedures.
- Initiate or recommend solutions to problems identified.
- Ensure prompt reporting of all incidents.
- Strive to continuously improve processes, systems, and procedures through a consultative and team approach.

**About you**
- Previous experience in a similar role would be highly advantageous.
- Computer literate with basic skills in Microsoft office suite.
- Have a current driver’s license.
- Have a current forklift ticket.
- Enterprise Resource Planning software (ERP) such as SAP, Navision, or Ostendo experience is desirable.
- Lead by example and demonstrate a second-to-none commitment to safety and excellence.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - both written and verbal.
- High concern for detail, the desire for accuracy, and the quality of the work completed
